Examination Results Information
Yesodey Hatorah Girls again excel in their GCSE Examinations
The Department for Education has
announced that the public examination results for 2020 will not be
published as, due to Coronavirus, they are not comparable to previous
years' figures. The information below relates to the Summer 2019
results. Progress 8 score 1.08 (well above average - DfE category)
Attainment 8 score 56
Percentage of students with a strong pass (grade 5 or above) in both
English and Mathematics 65% (national average 43%)
Percentage of grades at 9 - 7 or A*/A 41%
Percentage of grades at 9 - 4 or A*-C 88%
Percentage of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate * 34%
Percentage of pupils succeeding in the English Baccalaureate * 96%
Student 'destinations' (2017 data, most recent available) ** 95%
* these figures show the percentage whose subject choices included all
the relevant subject and, if so, what percentage succeeded.
**the percentage of students who continue in education or training, or
move on to employment at the end of Year 11 - N.B. data not available
for 5 % of cohort
Yesodey Hatorah Senior Girls' High School pupils excelled again in their
GCSE examinations this year with 88% of entries receiving A*-C or 9-4.
41% on entrants received an A*/A or 9-7 grades.
The school's Attainment 8 score (A8), reflecting the total grades per
student on average, was 56, significantly above the national average
(source - FFT). The school's Progress 8 score (P8), reflecting the
progress made per student on average, was 1.08, compared to a national
average of 0. This means that, on average, student GCSE results were
over 1 grade higher than would have been expected when they started
secondary school. This is a superb outcome.
In particular, this year 93% of this cohort achieved Grade 4 (pass) or
above in Maths and English, significantly above the national average.

Salary Bands
The Government requires schools to publish the number of individuals (if
any) earning over £100k, in £10k bandings. At our school, nobody earns
these amounts.
